Having been an immigrant herself, Farnaz has always been drawn to helping newcomers of Canada. She has had the opportunity to hold various roles in the Adult Education field since 2011. She has taught EAP, ESL and COMM courses at Ontario colleges such as George Brown College and Seneca College, private schools such as ILAC, and a few LINC programs. She has also been a Teacher Trainer and Assistant Director of Studies in the Private Sector. Her particular interests are curriculum design and autonomous learning in language acquisition. She is currently teaching in the Department of English and Communication at George Brown College. Farnaz is a firm believer that as teachers we are constantly learning and there is always room for improvement, and for that she is enthused to meet and support teachers and learn from them herself.
