English Proficiency Index: 2012 Edition

EF (aka English First language schools) has just released its second ‘English Proficiency Index’. No surprises in the top tier – Scandinavia dominates the highest level; however, the rest of the list holds some interesting, and sometimes unexpected results. Read a good summary of the index here in Johnson  (the Economist’s language blog), and read EF’s entire report here.
