The goal of Post TESL Certificate Training (PTCT) is to provide professional development courses in specific topics to experienced ESL instructors. The courses are delivered by various educational organizations that have been vetted by TESL Ontario. Download the brochure here.
From TESL Ontario:
PTCT is training in specialized language instruction. It builds on a foundation of professional knowledge and skills established in TESL certificate training and developed through classroom practice. To learn about the initial requirements of PTCT course participation, training fee reimbursement, and TESL Ontario recognition, please review the PTCT Information Card.
For details about PTCT course participation requirements, start/end dates, schedules, modes of presentation, training locations, etc., please check the PTCT course providers’ websites or contact them by phone or email. A list of accredited PTCT courses and the course providers’ contact information is posted at http://www.teslontario.net/accreditation under the heading “Post TESL Certificate Training (PTCT) Courses”.
