TESL Ontario’s Contact Magazine: Call for Articles
Contact is looking for articles for their special conference issue. The articles should be based on presentations at the October TESL Ontario conference or somehow relate to the conference. If you would like to publish such an article, or if you saw a presentation that you think would make a good article, please contact Brett Reynolds at editor@teslontario.org.

Lesson Plan Competition
IATEFL BESIG, in collaboration with the Cambridge University Press ‘Professional English Online’ website, are delighted to announce a new lesson plan competition that gives business English trainers the chance to have their ideas published online for the first time.
Three prizes will be awarded including CUP’s Professional English Online website and various materials.

TESL Toronto Spring 2012 Conference: Call for Presenters
Click here to fill out either the online form or download the proposal document in order to present at our annual Spring Conference this coming May. We’re looking for dynamic presenters with innovative practical ideas for the classroom. Presenters can attend other sessions free of charge and receive an honorarium for presenting.
Deadline: March 1, 2012.
TESOL ELT Development Series: Call for proposals
TESOL is seeking proposals for short ELT development booklets for including in their new series for language teachers. Booklets are aimed at 10,000 words and will cover a variety of skills teaching aspects and be accessible for both native and non-native speaking teachers. Edited by Thomas Farrell, works should be original, previously unpublished and not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. More information can be found here.

Call for Articles on Mobile Teaching
JMT, the Journal of Mobile Teaching, seeks article contributions from educators, researchers, and mobile technology professionals on teaching and learning using touch-enabled mobile devices. Individuals or teams of authors involved at any level of education and device development may contribute material for consideration.

Founded in 1976, TESL Toronto is a volunteer-run, non-profit organization representing educators and specialists in the fields of English as a Second Language (ESL) and English as a Foreign Language (EFL). We are an affiliate of TESL Ontario.
